Apple-Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

250g (8.8 oz) dark chocolate

800g (28 oz) apples

2 star anise (optional)

1 cinnamon stick (optional)

Orange zest (optional)

Instructions

Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces.

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the apples and a small amount of water.

If desired, add a cinnamon stick, star anise, and orange zest for extra flavor. Cook until the apples become soft.

Remove the spices (if used) and blend the apples into a smooth puree.

Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave.

Mix the melted chocolate into the apple puree until fully combined.

Pour the mixture into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serve chilled and enjoy!

Tip: Garnish with whipped cream or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an extra touch.
