Fragile cream vanilla cake

Moist White Cake with Whipped Frosting

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole milk

For the Frosting:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Make the Cake Batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg whites one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  3. Combine and Bake: Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  4. Prepare the Frosting: Whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. Assemble: Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cake. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
