Natural Cleansing Grains for Gentle Exfoliation & Radiant Skin

Cleansing Grains Recipe

Cleansing Grains are dry, powder-based formulations made from botanical ingredients. They are mixed with water just before use to create a soft paste that acts as a gentle daily cleanser and exfoliator.

Ingredients:

  • 25% Oats (finely ground; soothes, calms, anti-inflammatory, gently exfoliates, and cleanses the skin)
  • 20% Arrowroot Powder (or rice starch/powder; helps bind the mixture and gently exfoliates the skin)
  • 20% Ground Almond Meal (gently exfoliates, nourishes, and softens the skin with vitamin E and fatty acids)
  • 20% Milk Powder (softens, hydrates, and gently exfoliates the skin with natural lactic acid)
  • 15% Ground Rice/Rice Flour (brightens skin tone, reduces blemishes, and controls excess oil production)

Storage:

  • Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture from entering the container.
  • When stored correctly, cleansing grains can last up to 6 months.
  • Since this formula does not contain broad-spectrum preservatives, it is essential to avoid water or moisture from contaminating the container.

How to Use:

  1. Take about 1 teaspoon (5ml) of the dry cleansing grains in your hand or a small cup.
  2. Add a few drops of water and mix into a paste. The more water you add, the more liquid the paste becomes; less water results in a thicker paste.
  3. Dampen your face with water, then gently apply the paste, massaging in circular motions while avoiding the eye area.
  4. Rinse your face with water and gently pat dry with a towel.

Important Notes:

  • Never allow water to enter the container, as it will encourage bacterial growth.
  • This is a natural, soap-free facial cleanser that provides a mild exfoliation, leaving your skin smooth, refreshed, and radiant.
  • Suitable for daily use as part of your skincare routine.

This Cleansing Grains formula is a perfect alternative to conventional face washes, especially for those with sensitive skin or looking for a more natural skincare approach.
