- A very simple and fulfilling side dish or snack, this cheesy quick bread is Perfect for hectic weeknights or when you’re hankering for a cheesy treat, it’s loaded with melty cheese and comes together in less than an hour.
★Ingredients
½ tablespoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon of salt One cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup granulated sugarTwo
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour;
¾ cup milk
¹ ½ cup vegetable oil
—or your preferred cheese
—One big egg, beaten
★Instructions
- Set your oven for 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9x 5 inch loaf pan.
- Whisk in a large basin the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the crumbled cheese.
- Whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, and beaten egg in another dish.
- Combine the wet components with the dry ones just until blended. Guard from overmixing!
- Load the batter into your ready loaf pan.
- Baker until a toothpick put into the middle comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
- Before moving the bread to a wire rack to cool completely, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
