Sweet Blueberry Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 5 tablespoons cold butter (cubed)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (optional, for a cheesy twist)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add Butter – Cut the cold butter into the dry ingredients using a pastry cutter or fork until it forms a crumbly texture.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients – Pour in the cold milk and vanilla extract. Gently stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in Blueberries – Carefully fold in the blueberries without crushing them.
  6. Shape the Biscuits – Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet or lightly shape into rounds.
  7. Bake – Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Cool & Serve – Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
